  • Rána byla teplá a slunce svítilo nad Prahou.

The morning was warm, and the sun shone over Prague.

  • Jan a Eva stáli na Karlově mostě.

Jan and Eva were standing on Charles Bridge.

  • Byli nadšení.

    They were excited.

  • Chtěli udělat perfektní selfie.

They wanted to take the perfect selfie.

  • Za nimi byla krásná Praha.

Behind them was the beautiful Prague.

  • Staré věže a řeka Vltava.

Old towers and the Vltava River.

  • Vytáhli mobil.

    They took out the phone.

  • Usmáli se.

    They smiled.

  • Ale pak přišli holubi.

    But then the pigeons came.

  • Holubi létali kolem nich.

    Pigeons were flying around them.

  • Eva měla v ruce kousek chleba.

Eva had a piece of bread in her hand.

  • Holubi se na něj vrhli.

    The pigeons scrambled for it.

  • "Hej, to je můj chleba!

    "Hey, that's my bread!"

  • " křičela Eva.

    Eva shouted.

  • Holubi byli rychlí a drzí.

The pigeons were quick and cheeky.

  • Jan se pokusil holuby zahnat.

Jan tried to shoo them away.

  • Ale oni se vrátili.

    But they came back.

  • Bylo to jako hra.

    It was like a game.

  • Holubi chtěli jídlo a Jana a Evu to štvalo.

The pigeons wanted food, and Jan and Eva were annoyed.

  • "Pojďme to zkusit znovu," řekl Jan.

    "Let's try again," Jan said.

  • Přitiskli se k sobě a zvedli mobil.

They pressed close together and raised the phone.

  • Ale znovu!

    But again!

  • Holubi skočili do záběru.

The pigeons jumped into the shot.

  • Oba se smáli, i když byli trochu naštvaní.

Both were laughing, though a bit frustrated.

  • Na mostě bylo mnoho turistů.

There were many tourists on the bridge.

  • Někteří se smáli.

    Some were laughing.

  • Jiní se fotili.

    Others were taking photos.

  • Jan a Eva se nevzdávali.

Jan and Eva didn't give up.

  • "Musíme vymyslet plán," řekla Eva.

"We need to come up with a plan," Eva said.

  • "Možná, když budeme mít víc jídla, odejdou.

"Maybe if we have more food, they will leave."

  • " Koupili si pár housek od nedalekého stánku a rozdělili jídlo mezi holuby.

They bought a few rolls from a nearby stall and divided the food among the pigeons.

  • Holubi byli spokojení.

    The pigeons were satisfied.

  • Jan a Eva konečně chvíli klidu.

Jan and Eva finally had a moment of peace.

  • Zvedli mobil, usmáli se a cvak!

They raised the phone, smiled, and click!

  • Perfektní selfie!

    The perfect selfie!

  • "Podívej!

    "Look!"

  • " řekla Eva a ukázala fotku.

    said Eva, showing the photo.

  • "Vidíš tu krásnou věž?

"Do you see that beautiful tower?"

  • " Jan se usmál.

    Jan smiled.

  • "Ano, a žádný holub!

    "Yes, and no pigeons!"

  • " Smáli se spolu a pokračovali v procházení po mostě.

They laughed together and continued to stroll on the bridge.

  • Odpoledne se slunce začalo schovávat za obzorem.

In the afternoon, the sun started to hide behind the horizon.

  • Jan a Eva měli spoustu fotek a vzpomínek.

Jan and Eva had plenty of photos and memories.

  • Holubi už byli pryč.

    The pigeons were gone.

  • Praha byla krásná.

    Prague was beautiful.

  • A oni byli šťastní.

    And they were happy.

  • "Pojďme se ještě jednou podívat na tu fotku," řekl Jan.

"Let's look at the photo one more time," Jan said.

  • Eva vytáhla mobil a oba se podívali.

Eva took out the phone, and they both looked.

  • Byla to ta nejhezčí fotka.

It was the most beautiful photo.

  • Bez holubů navždy.

    Without pigeons forever.

  • A tak skončil jejich den na Karlově mostě.

And so their day on Charles Bridge ended.

  • Bylo to dobrodružství, které nikdy nezapomenou.

It was an adventure they would never forget.
