  • Pan oedd yr heulwen yn tywynnu ar gopaon Eryri, roedd Carys a Dafydd yn cerdded ar y llwybr serth.

When the sunshine was shining on the peaks of Snowdonia, Carys and Dafydd were walking on the steep path.

  • Roedd y ddiwrnod yn berffaith.

    The day was perfect.

  • Roedd Carys yn edmygu golygfeydd hyfryd o amgylch y mynyddoedd.

Carys was admiring the beautiful views around the mountains.

  • Roedd Dafydd yn gwenud lluniau gyda'i gamera newydd.

Dafydd was taking pictures with his new camera.

  • "Edrych ar y wawr, Carys," meddai Dafydd.

"Look at the dawn, Carys," said Dafydd.

  • "Mae'n anhygoel!

    "It's incredible!"

  • ""Ydy," meddai Carys gyda chwerthin, "dych chi erioed wedi gweld rhywbeth mor brydferth.

"Yes," said Carys with a laugh, "you've never seen anything so beautiful."

  • "Ond ar ganol y daith, dechreuodd Carys deimlo'n wael.

But in the middle of the journey, Carys began to feel unwell.

  • Dechreuodd hi beswch ac yn teimlo poen yn ei stumog.

She started coughing and feeling pain in her stomach.

  • "Dafydd, dw i'm teimlo'n iawn," meddai Carys yn wan.

"Dafydd, I don't feel well," said Carys weakly.

  • Daliodd Dafydd ei dwylo.

    Dafydd held her hands.

  • "Beth sy'n bod?

    "What's wrong?"

  • " gofynnodd e'n bryderus.

    he asked worriedly.

  • "Rwy'n teimlo'n sâl," meddai Carys.

    "I feel sick," said Carys.

  • "Dw i angen eistedd lawr.

    "I need to sit down."

  • "Roedd Dafydd yn poeni.

    Dafydd was worried.

  • Roeddynt yng nghanol dim lle gyda neb o gwmpas i helpu.

They were in the middle of nowhere with no one around to help.

  • "Eistedd yma," meddai, gan roi ei fwynol ar lawr.

"Sit here," he said, placing his jacket on the ground.

  • Eisteddodd Carys arno, yn anadlu'n drymach.

Carys sat on it, breathing heavily.

  • Gafaelodd Dafydd ei bag.

    Dafydd grabbed his bag.

  • "Mae'r dŵr gyda fi," meddai, gan agor y botel a'i roi i Carys.

"I have the water," he said, opening the bottle and giving it to Carys.

  • Diolchodd hi iddo ac yfed y dŵr, ond ni theimlai'n well.

She thanked him and drank the water, but did not feel better.

  • Roedd ei gwyneb yn wyn fel y galchen.

Her face was white like chalk.

  • "Dafydd, mae'n rhaid i ni ddod o hyd i gymorth," cyfadde Dafydd yn faleisus.

"Dafydd, we need to find help," admitted Dafydd anxiously.

  • "Dw i ddim yn gwybod beth i'w wneud!

"I don't know what to do!"

  • "Am fewn eiliadau, clywodd Dafydd sŵn camau traed yn dod tuag atynt.

Within seconds, Dafydd heard the sound of footsteps approaching them.

  • Roedd yn deulu yn cerdded gyda'u ci.

It was a family walking with their dog.

  • "Help, help!

    "Help, help!"

  • " gwaeddodd Dafydd.

    shouted Dafydd.

  • Daeth y teulu atynt yn gyflym.

    The family quickly came over.

  • "Beth sy'n digwydd?

    "What's happening?"

  • " gofynnodd y dyn gyda dannedd seren.

asked the man with a bright smile.

  • "Mae hi'n sal iawn," eglurodd Dafydd, gan ddal Carys yn ofalus.

"She's very sick," explained Dafydd, holding Carys carefully.

  • "Rwyn paramedigion," meddai'r dyn.

"I'm a paramedic," said the man.

  • "Rhaid i ni galw am help brys.

"We need to call for emergency help."

  • " Gafaelodd ei ffôn symudol a chychwyn ffonio.

He grabbed his mobile phone and started dialing.

  • Cofrestrodd amser fel araf oen.

Time seemed to slow down painfully.

  • A fuan daeth hofrennydd achub ar y lle, hedfanodd yn brysur i Ynys Môn ag orbedig.

Soon, a rescue helicopter arrived at the scene and flew swiftly to Anglesey with the patient.

  • Yn Ysbyty Gwynedd, gwnaeth y meddygon i Carys deimlo'n well.

At Ysbyty Gwynedd, the doctors made Carys feel better.

  • Roedd hi wedi cael gwrthrychwydd brwd.

    She had received timely treatment.

  • Roedd angen gorffwys a gwella.

She needed to rest and recover.

  • Ar ôl cwpl o ddyddiau, roedd hi'n teimlo'n well.

After a couple of days, she felt better.

  • Dychwelasant i'w cartref yn ddiogel.

    They returned home safely.

  • Roedd Dafydd a Carys wedi hen wynebu'r argyfwng, ond bellach, roedd hyn wedi'u gwneud yn fwy cryf ac wedi'u cysylltu'n fwy agos nag erioed.

Dafydd and Carys had faced a crisis, but now, it had made them stronger and closer than ever.

  • "Diolch, Dafydd," meddai Carys yn dawel, "am fod yno i mi.

"Thank you, Dafydd," said Carys quietly, "for being there for me."

  • ""Bob tro," atebodd e, gyda thosturi yn ei lygaid.

"Always," he replied, with compassion in his eyes.

  • Roeddent wedi dysgu pwysigrwydd iechyd a chymorth ar y daith fwya anhygoel o'u bywydau.

They had learned the importance of health and support on the most incredible journey of their lives.

  • Ac eleni, prin byddai'r heulwen yn serennu ar yr hedirol Snowdonia heb o mwy adrodd anturiaethau.

And this year, the sunshine wouldn’t shine on the soaring heights of Snowdonia without both of them recounting their adventure.

  • Diwedd.

    The end.
