Snowdonia Adventure: A Rescue Mission of Friendship and Survival
Roedd hi'n ddiwrnod braf yn Eryri ac roedd yr haul yn tywynnu dros y mynyddoedd.
It was a fine day in Snowdonia, and the sun was shining over the mountains.
Roedd Gareth a Carys yn crwydro'r llwybrau prydferth gyda'i gilydd.
Gareth and Carys were wandering the beautiful paths together.
Wrth gerdded yn y coed, roedd yr awyr yn glir a'r cŵn defaid yn hofran a'r natur yn llawn bywyd.
As they walked in the woods, the sky was clear, the sheepdogs were hovering, and nature was full of life.
Gareth oedd yn arwain y ffordd, gyda map yn ei law a gwen ar ei wyneb.
Gareth was leading the way, with a map in his hand and a smile on his face.
"C'mon Carys! Mae yna olygfa anhygoel jyst ar ben y bryn 'na," meddai Gareth yn llawn brwdfrydedd.
"Come on, Carys! There’s an amazing view just on top of that hill," said Gareth enthusiastically.
Ond, wrth gamu ymlaen, collodd Gareth ei gam a syrthiodd i'r llawr.
But, as he stepped forward, Gareth lost his footing and fell to the ground.
"O, bant â ti!" gwaeddodd o mewn poen.
"Oh, get off!" he shouted in pain.
Rhoddodd Carys ei llaw dros ei geg gyda braw.
Carys put her hand over her mouth in shock.
"Gareth?" gofynnodd Carys yn braintai.
"Gareth?" asked Carys tentatively.
Roedd ei wyneb yn bryderus.
Her face was worried.
Roedd Gareth yn ceisio sefyll, ond teimlai poen miniog yn ei ffer.
Gareth tried to stand, but felt a sharp pain in his ankle.
“Rwy'n credu 'mod i wedi niweidio fy ffêr,” meddai Gareth.
“I think I’ve hurt my ankle,” said Gareth.
Edrychodd y ddau o gwmpas, nid oedd neb arall i'w gweld.
The two looked around; there was no one else to be seen.
Roeddent bell iawn o'r lle parcio ac nid oedd gysylltiad ffon ar gael.
They were far from the car park and had no phone signal.
“Nid yw hyn yn dda,” meddai Carys yn galed wrth geisio meddwl am ateb.
"This is not good," said Carys firmly, trying to think of a solution.
Roedd hi'n gwybod bod angen iddyn nhw ddod o hyd i gymorth yn gyflym.
She remembered she had another map in her backpack.
Cofiodd Carys fod map arall gyda hi ôliedig.
She opened it to see where the nearest rescue stations were.
Agorodd i weld lle'roedd y gorsafoedd achub agosaf.
"We need to reach the rescue station," said Carys.
"Mae raid i ni gyrraedd y gorsaf achub," meddai Carys.
Gareth looked at his swollen ankle and felt anxious.
Edrychai Gareth ar ei ffêr chwyddedig a theimlai pryder.
But he knew he had to keep going.
Ond roedd yn gwybod ei fod yn rhaid iddo ddal ati.
With determination, Gareth got up, and the two continued to walk slowly.
Gyda brwdfrydedd, cododd Gareth a pharodd y ddau i gerdded yn araf.
As the day turned to night, they were approaching the rescue station.
Wrth i'r diwrnod droi'n nos, roeddynt yn agosáu at y gorsaf achub.
"Hold on, Gareth, we're almost there," said Carys while helping Gareth with every step.
“Dali di Gareth, 'dyn ni bron â cyrraedd,” meddai Carys tra'n cynorthwyo Gareth gyda phob cam.
Thankfully, the two finally reached the rescue station.
Yn ddiolchgar, cyrhaeddodd y ddau'r gorsaf achub yn y diwedd.
A local man approached Gareth and offered his help.
Croesodd dyn lleol Gareth a chynigiodd ei help. "Ydych chi'n iawn?" gofynnodd wrth glywed eu stori ac yn helpu Gareth i eistedd.
"Are you okay?" he asked after hearing their story and helping Gareth to sit down.
Diolch!” meddai Gareth yn llawn rhyddhad.
"Thank you!" said Gareth with relief.
“Ond sut y gwyddoch i chi ein bod ni angen help?”
"But how did you know we needed help?"
“Mae fy nghwn defaid yn glyfar iawn,” atebodd y dyn lleol gyda chroesawgar.
"My sheepdogs are very clever," replied the local man warmly.
“Gwelais nhw'n rhedeg tuag at eich cyfeiriad a dilynais nhw.
"I saw them running in your direction and followed them."
"Cawsant Gareth wedi ei gludo'n ôl i'w gar ac roedd y ddau yn ddiolchgar iawn.
Gareth was transported back to his car, and the two were very grateful.
Roedd ystyriaeth a thosturi Carys wedi achub y diwrnod.
Carys’s consideration and compassion had saved the day.
Byddai Gareth byth yn anghofio'r wers bwysig honno: edrychwch bob amser ble rydych chi'n camu, a bod eich ffrindiau yna i helpu.
Gareth would never forget the important lesson: Always watch where you step, and that friends are there to help.
