They were searching for the perfect ingredients to make a traditional Welsh soup for a big family gathering.
"Ble rydym ni'n dechrau?
"Where do we start?"
" gofynnodd Rhydian yn gyffrous.
asked Rhydian excitedly.
"Gyda'r cig," atebodd Gareth yn sicr.
"With the meat," Gareth answered confidently.
"A bod dyngediad i gaws fel ein tad-cu.
"And a destiny for cheese like our granddad."
"Edrychodd Nia ar ei lyfr nodiadau.
Nia looked at her notebook.
"Mae angen cig oen arnom.
"We need lamb.
Mae'r rysáit yn dweud hynny yn glir.
The recipe clearly says so."
"Aethant i stondin y cigydd.
They went to the butcher's stall.
Roedd cigyddên wên yn wên enfawr wrth iddynt gyrraedd.
The butcher had a huge smile as they arrived.
"Beth allaf helpu gyda chi heddiw?
"How can I help you today?"
" gofynnodd yn groyw.
he asked cheerfully.
"Mae angen arnom gig oen ar gyfer cawl," dywedodd Gareth.
"We need lamb for soup," said Gareth.
"Dim problem," atebodd y cigydd.
"No problem," the butcher replied.
"Mae gennyf hynod o gig ffres.
"I have exceptionally fresh meat.
Bydd yn berffaith ar gyfer eich cawl.
It will be perfect for your soup."
"Yn drisiau, symudodd y tri ffrind wrth eu bodd i'r stondin nesaf.
Happily, the three friends moved on to the next stall.
Roedd yna stondin lysiau llawn o wahanol liwiau.
There was a vegetable stall full of different colors.
"Beth arall sydd ar y rhestr?
"What else is on the list?"
" gofynnodd Rhydian.
Rhydian asked.
"Moron, cennin, winwnsyn," meddalodd Nia wrth edrych ar ei lyfr nodiadau.
"Carrots, leeks, onions," Nia murmured while looking at her notebook.
"Arhoswch!
"Wait!"
" gwaeddodd Gareth.
shouted Gareth.
"Anghofiais am y tatws!
"I forgot about the potatoes!"
"Ar ôl prynu'r tatws, aethant ymlaen i'r stondinau llaeth i gael caws.
After buying the potatoes, they proceeded to the dairy stalls to get cheese.
Nia gwelodd gaws Cymreig blasus a synnwyd iddi grybwyll teitl yr enw.
Nia saw delicious Welsh cheese and excitedly mentioned its name.
"Dyma hyfryd," meddai.
"This is lovely," she said.
"Bydd yn ychwanegu blas unigryw i'r cawl.
"It will add a unique flavor to the soup."
"Yn olaf, fe aethant at stondin berlysiau.
Finally, they went to the herb stall.
"Nid yw cawl heb berlysiau ffres," dywedodd Rhydian yn falch.
"Soup isn't soup without fresh herbs," Rhydian said proudly.
Gyda'u bagiau yn llawn o gigoedd a llysiau, a'u calonnau'n llawn cyffro, roeddent yn barod i ddychwelyd adref.
With their bags full of meats and vegetables, and their hearts full of excitement, they were ready to return home.

Dydd cyfarfod y teulu cyrhaeddodd.
The day of the family meeting arrived.
Gweithio'n galed, coginiodd y tri gyda'i gilydd yn y gegin.
Working hard, the three cooked together in the kitchen.
Llenwyd yr ystafell gyda'r aroglau a thaeniodd gwên ar wynebau pob un ohonynt wrth i'r stiw gynhesu ar yr hob.
The room filled with aromas and smiles spread across their faces as the stew simmered on the hob.
Ar ôl diwrnod o chwilio a choginio, cyrhaeddodd y foment – agorodd rhieni, neiniau, teidiau, brodyr a chwiorydd y drws i ddod i mewn.

"Mae'n blasu fel cawl ein tad-cu.
"It tastes like our granddad's soup."
"Roedd y tri ffrind yn edrych ar ei gilydd a chwerthin.
