  • Mae orffennol Cymreig yn llenwi aer yr elusen yn Llandudno, lle mae’r môr yn cwrdd â bryniau gwyrddlas.

The Welsh past fills the air of the charity in Llandudno, where the sea meets the verdant hills.

  • Roedd Alys yn sefyll yn y coridor, yn edrych ar y llysiau yng nghefn yr elusen, lle’r oedd cynlluniau’r ffair haf.

Alys was standing in the corridor, looking at the garden at the back of the charity, where plans for the summer fair were being made.

  • Llawn penderfyniad oedd hi, er bod dwylo’r cloc yn ticio’n rhy gyflym.

She was full of determination, even though the clock hands were ticking too fast.

  • Mae Gethin yn ymuno â hi. "Rydyn ni angen stondin lemonade," meddai ef’n bendant.

Gethin joined her. "We need a lemonade stand," he said decisively.

  • "Bydd rhaid i ni gael rhaff tynnu a gêmau corlan."

"We will need a tug of war and coral games."

  • Roedd Alys yn betrusgar. "Ond mae’r arian a’r amser yn gyfyngedig," meddai hi’n ofn.

Alys was hesitant. "But the money and time are limited," she said, worried.

  • Ond erbyn hynny roedd Gethin wedi dechrau llunio’r map.

By then, Gethin had already started drafting the map.

  • "Gallwn ni wneud hyn," dywedodd e’n bendant. "Mae gyda fi profiad."

"We can do this," he said confidently. "I have experience."

  • Dyma Alys yn cymryd anadl ddofn. Roedd amgueddfa yn gadael iddi aros yn dawel.

Alys took a deep breath. The museum allowed her to stay calm.

  • "O’r gorau, gawn ni roi cynnig?"

"Alright, shall we give it a try?"

But Sunday was the day the Week started with energy from the flesh and all the streets up and the low sea wind from the south dragging the black clouds.

  • Mor sydyn ag y dechreuodd y ffydd roedd lledneis, mi fydd hi’n glawio drwodd.

As suddenly as the belief had begun, the sky was calm, and it would rain through.

  • "Pa beth allwn ni wneud?" gofynnodd Alys yn bryderus.

"What can we do?" Alys asked worriedly.

  • Roedd Gethin yn edrych o gwmpas. "Mae angen symud popeth i’r adeilad. Unwaith bargen ni pawb, gawn ni gynnal ffair i mewn."

Gethin looked around. "We need to move everything to the building. Once everyone is inside, we can hold the fair indoors."

  • Alys cymerodd ei law. "Rydw i'n rhoi cynnig."

Alys took his hand. "I'm willing to try."
