  • Gwyn carodd y mynyddoedd.

    Gwyn loved the mountains.

  • Ar fore haf, roedd y tywydd yn berffaith.

On a summer morning, the weather was perfect.

  • Y tirweddau gwyrdd a'r llynnoedd tawel yn Snowdonia oedd ei baradwys.

The green landscapes and tranquil lakes in Snowdonia were his paradise.

  • Yn ei law roedd map hen a slei.

In his hand was an old and sly map.

  • Dywedodd wrth Eira, "Bydd y map hwn yn ein tywys i le cudd.

He told Eira, "This map will lead us to a hidden place.

  • Rhaid i ni ddod o hyd iddo.

    We must find it."

  • "Eira oedd ei ffrind gorau.

    Eira was his best friend.

  • Roedd hi'n hoffi antur, ond roedd hi'n amheus hefyd.

She liked adventure but was also skeptical.

  • "Ydych chi'n sicr, Gwyn?

    "Are you sure, Gwyn?

  • Mae'r map yn edrych hen a cham.

The map looks old and misleading."

  • "Dafydd, y hanesydd lleol, ymunodd â nhw.

Dafydd, the local historian, joined them.

  • Roedd ganddo gyfrinach wrth y map.

He had a secret involving the map.

  • Roedd eisiau cyfiawnder ar gyfer gwall o’r gorffennol.

He wanted justice for a past mistake.

  • "Dilynaf chi," meddai Dafydd.

"I will follow you," said Dafydd.

  • "Mae hanes cudd yma.

    "There is hidden history here."

  • "Roedd daith y dydd yn anodd.

    The day's journey was tough.

  • Y tirwedd yn heriol a'r llwybrau yn serth.

The terrain was challenging, and the paths were steep.

  • Ond Gwyn yn dal ati.

    But Gwyn kept at it.

  • "Rydyn ni'n agos," dywedodd yn hyderus.

    "We’re close," he said confidently.

  • Cyrhaeddon nhw groesffordd.

    They reached a crossroads.

  • "Pa ffordd nawr?

    "Which way now?"

  • " gofynnodd Eira.

    asked Eira.

  • Roedd dau lwybr - un i'r chwith ac un i'r dde.

There were two paths - one to the left and one to the right.

  • Gwyn edrychodd ar y map yn astud.

    Gwyn studied the map closely.

  • "Fydd yn rhaid i ni fynd i'r chwith.

"We need to go to the left.

  • Mae'n edrych anoddach, ond rhaid cymryd risg.

It looks harder, but we must take the risk."

  • "Aethon nhw ymlaen.

    They moved on.

  • Roedd y llwybr yn drafferthus a'r troedffyrdd yn gul.

The path was troublesome and the footpaths narrow.

  • Ond roedd y tirlun yn hudolus, cyfuniad o lystyfiant ac afonydd bychain.

But the landscape was enchanting, a mix of vegetation and small rivers.

  • Roeddent yn cadw hen ben y tir a’r map wrth eu dwylo.

They kept the old map and the goal in their hands.

  • Roedd y metel a’r cerrig yn eu harwain ymlaen o hyd.

The metal and stones continued to guide them.

  • Yn sydyn, clywon nhw dwr yn rhuo.

    Suddenly, they heard water roaring.

  • Roedd nant fawr o'u blaenau.

A large stream lay before them.

  • Rhaid oedd croesi.

    They had to cross it.

  • "Dwi ddim yn siwr, Gwyn," gwaeddodd Eira.

"I'm not sure, Gwyn," shouted Eira.

  • "Mae'n beryglus!

    "It’s dangerous!"

  • ""Gallwn ni wneud hyn gyda'n gilydd.

    "We can do this together.

  • Rydych chi'n gryf ac yn ddewr.

    You’re strong and brave.

  • Rwy'n eich ymddiried," gwiriodd Gwyn.

    I trust you," assured Gwyn.

  • Trwy lawer o ymdrech, cafodd y tri groesi'r nant yn ofalus.

With much effort, the three carefully crossed the stream.

  • Wedi hynny, cerddon nhw ychydig pellach nes gweld clogwyni cerrig hirion.

After that, they walked a little further until they saw tall rock cliffs.

  • "Mae yma!

    "It’s here!"

  • " gweiddodd Gwyn.

    shouted Gwyn.

  • "Mae'r fan yn union fel ar y map.

"The spot is exactly like on the map."

  • "Wedi crafu'r cerrig a symud rhai ohonynt, dadorchuddiwyd lle llawn arteffactau hanesyddol.

After scraping the rocks and moving some of them, they uncovered a place full of historical artifacts.

  • Roedd hen bapurau a gwrthrychau o'r gororau wedi'u gadael yno.

Old papers and objects from the borders had been left there.

  • Roeddent yn dystiolaeth o hanescolli'r ardal.

They were evidence of the area's lost history.

  • Mae penderfyniad Gwyn wedi talu'r pwyth.

    Gwyn's determination had paid off.

  • Roedd e wedi dod o hyd i drysor hanesyddol oedd wedi mynd ar goll ers talwm.

He had found a historical treasure that had been lost for a long time.

  • Roedd Eira yn llawn balchder a Dafydd yn llawn tawelwch.

Eira was filled with pride and Dafydd with a sense of closure.

  • "Dewis dda," meddalodd Eira wrth Gwyn.

"Good choice," Eira told Gwyn softly.

  • "A cho downi'n y brwydro di-Dafydd.

"And we wouldn’t have succeeded without you, Dafydd."

  • "Gwyn roedd dal y map a chyfarch ei ffrindiau.

Gwyn held onto the map and greeted his friends.

  • Roedd pawb wedi dysgu rhywbeth am eu hunain.

Everyone had learned something about themselves.

  • "Meddyliau newydd, yn dawel," meddai Dafydd.

    "New thoughts, quietly," Dafydd said.

  • "Y gorffennol wedi dod i'r golwg a’r camgymeriadau wedi'u prynu.

"The past has come to light, and mistakes have been redeemed."

  • "Roedd Gwyn yn hapus.

    Gwyn was happy.

  • Roedd y dirgelwch wedi'i ddatrys, ac roedd hanes yr ardal wedi'i adfer.

The mystery had been solved, and the history of the area had been restored.

  • Teyryn nhw gyda llawenydd trwy dir hardd Snowdonia, yn gwybod bod y parth o dda yn lle storïol o hyd.

They journeyed with joy through Snowdonia's beautiful land, knowing that the place was still legendary.

  • Roeddynt yn gwybod nad yw pob map yn arwain at drysor, ond y daith oedd wirioneddol.

They knew that not every map leads to treasure, but the journey itself was the true treasure.
