Spooky Surprises: The Secret Santa Office Shuffle
Roedd prynhawn hydref llwyd yn yr swyddfa.
It was a gray autumn afternoon in the office.
Roedd y desgiau fel twist y swn ffilm arswyd blasu.
The desks looked like a twist from a horror movie scene.
Planhigion plastig yn llawn cobweb a phwmpenni bach yn dipyn o ryfeddod i’r llygaid.
Plastic plants full of cobwebs and little pumpkins were quite a wonder to the eyes.
Roedd sŵn sibrydion yn llenwi’r ystafell wrth i’r gweithwyr baratoi ar gyfer y digwyddiad mwyaf cyffrous o’r mis - y Secret Santa.
The sound of whispers filled the room as the workers prepared for the most exciting event of the month - the Secret Santa.
Roedd Geraint, rheolwr ifanc gyda dawn fawr ond ychydig yn lletchwith, yn gobeithio gwneud argraff dda.
Geraint, a young manager with great talent but a bit awkward, hoped to make a good impression.
Roedd e wedi penderfynu trefnu'r cyfnewid rhoddion Fel Santa Cudd eleni, ac roedden nhw’n llawn cyffro.
He had decided to organize the gift exchange as the Secret Santa this year, and they were full of excitement.
Roedd pawb yn edrych ymlaen at gael ei rhodd, a Geraint yn benderfynol o wneud pethau’n berffaith.
Everyone was looking forward to receiving their gift, and Geraint was determined to make things perfect.
Ond roedd rhywbeth yn eithriadol o gyfarwydd am Carys, y gweinyddwr swyddfa prysur a chynorthwywr barcut, yn y pen draw yn rhoi sly nod i Geraint.
But there was something exceptionally familiar about Carys, the busy office administrator and assistant kite handler, who eventually gave Geraint a sly nod.
Roedd Carys wedi bod yn gweithio yn y swyddfa ers amser maith.
Carys had been working in the office for quite some time.
Roedd hi'n adnabod pawb a'u gwybodaeth.
She knew everyone and their information.
Roedd hi wrth ei bodd gyda jôcs a rhoi gwên ar wynebau ei chydweithwyr.
She loved jokes and putting smiles on her coworkers' faces.
Roedd hi wedi penderfynu addurno’r digwyddiad gyda ychydig o chwistrelliad hudol.
She had decided to sprinkle a little magic on the event.
"Beth am roi sticeri ar y blychau, Geraint?
"How about putting stickers on the boxes, Geraint?"
" awgrymodd hi, eu llygaid yn llawn doniolwch.
she suggested, her eyes full of mischief.
Geraint, yn meddwl byddai hynny’n gwneud pethau’n haws, cytunodd.
Geraint, thinking it would make things easier, agreed.
Ond roedd Carys eisoes wedi cynllunio tric bach - cadw sticer anghywir ar bob blwch.
But Carys had already planned a little trick - keeping the wrong sticker on each box.
Erbyn i’r amser cyrraedd, roedd pawb yn rhedeg i'r addurniadau i gasglu’r blychau.
By the time it arrived, everyone was rushing to the decorations to pick up their boxes.
Roedd Geraint yn nerfus, ond hefyd yn gyffrous.
Geraint was nervous but also excited.
Roedd pob un yn agor ei anrhegion, ac roedd yna giggle yn flith drwyddynt.
Everyone opened their gifts, and there were giggles throughout.
Roedd hyn ond oherwydd roedd pob un o’r rhoddion wedi mynd i’r person anghywir.
This was only because each gift had gone to the wrong person.
"Pam ddaeth i mi ffon golf?
"Why did I get a golf club?"
" chwythodd Tim, sy’n casáu golff.
exclaimed Tim, who hates golf.
Rhoddwyd wyneb Ceri mewn sioe gyda siampŵ dau mewn un, er nid oedd ganddi wallt ene felly.
Ceri was presented with a two-in-one shampoo, though she didn’t have hair like that.
Roedd y gweithwyr yn cyd-wenu, wrth iddynt weld donioldeb y sefyllfa.
The workers shared smiles, seeing the humor in the situation.
Geraint, yn poeni i ddechrau, yn aros am gyfarwyddyd.
Geraint, worried at first, awaited guidance.
Dyma Carys yn cynnal llaw, ei chyffwrdd yn gwmni, a chafodd codiad hir o ysgafnder.
Carys reached out her hand, her touch reassuring, and he was lifted by a sense of lightness.
"Wel," aeth hi ymlaen yn hwylus, "yn aml iawn nid beth sy’n dod i ni, ond sut rydym yn ymateb.
"Well," she continued cheerfully, "it's often not what comes to us, but how we respond."
"Trwy'r gig, daeth Geraint i ddeall y pwynt.
Through the laughs, Geraint came to understand the point.
Daeth ei donioldeb a llefydd iddynt ochr yn ochr gyda rhoi llwyddiant a mwynhad gyda'i gilydd.
His humor found its place alongside delivering success and enjoyment.
Roedd yn gwerthfawrogi natur chwarae ei gydweithredyddion.
He appreciated the playful nature of his coworkers.
Roedd y digwyddiad wedi dod i ben â llwyddiant mawr - nid oherwydd perffeithrwydd, ond oherwydd gwêniau a chlochdau arswydus a llawen.
The event ended with great success - not because of perfection, but because of smiles and cheerful, spooky laughs.
Roedd Geraint wedi dysgu heddiw bod gwenyn a chyfrinach ledled yr ystafell lawer yn well na phopeth arall.
Geraint learned today that laughter and secrets throughout the room are much better than anything else.
Ac wrth i'r ddau adael yr ystafell, roedd Carys yn ffrind arbennig, a chofiwyd pwy oedd erioed yn colli'r giglou, ond i ffwrdd gyda straeon yn unwahanadwy.
And as the two left the room, Carys was a special friend, and it would be remembered who never lost the giggle but went away with unforgettable stories.
