  • O dan awyr glas y gaeaf, roedd Castell Caerdydd wedi'i orchuddio â blanced o eira ffres.

Under the blue winter sky, Castell Caerdydd was covered with a blanket of fresh snow.

  • Roedd y marchogion cerfiedig yn sefyll yn gadarn ar eu llech o gwmpas yr iard.

The carved knights stood firmly on their slate around the yard.

  • Y tu mewn, yng ngoleuni meddal y lluser ganol, roedd Gwenllian ac Owain yn eistedd mewn ystafell fawr ledrithiol.

Inside, in the soft light of the flickering candle, Gwenllian and Owain sat in a large, opulent room.

  • Roedd Gwenllian yn benderfynol.

    Gwenllian was determined.

  • Ei theulu, gyda chwmni teuluol o hanes hir, angen tyfu a moderneiddio i barhau a ffynnu.

Her family, with a long-standing family company, needed to grow and modernize to continue and thrive.

  • Roedd Owain, gyda’i wreiddiau'n ddwfn mewn traddodiad, yn poeni am golli gwerthoedd ei fusnes teuluol os oeddent i ymuno â’r fusnes arall.

Owain, with his deep roots in tradition, worried about losing the values of his family business if they were to join with the other business.

  • Roedd syllu hir rhwng y ddau, fel ymyll o dân yn ochri drwy’r ystafell, a’r pesiant o ddŵr poeth yn aros yn llonydd.

There was a long stare between the two, like an edge of fire slicing through the room, and the steaming pot of hot water stayed still.

  • Yn ofer, roeddent wedi trafod am oriau.

In vain, they had discussed for hours.

  • Roedd y cloc ar y pared yn clicio ymlaen heb guriad y galon.

The clock on the wall ticked onward without a heartbeat.

  • Roedd Gwenllian yn gwybod bod angen iddi newid ei dacteg.

Gwenllian knew she needed to change her tactic.

  • "Owain," dywedodd hi, ei llais yn fedrus ond yn garedig.

"Owain," she said, her voice skillful yet kind.

  • "Rwy’n deall tabernacl eich teulu.

"I understand the tabernacle of your family."

  • " Edrychai Owain i lawr ar y papurau o’i flaen, ei wyneb yn llenwi â meddwagon.

Owain looked down at the papers before him, his face filling with contemplation.

  • "Prydferthwch ein treftadaeth ni yw’r trysor mwyaf," parheid Gwenllian.

"The beauty of our heritage is the greatest treasure," continued Gwenllian.

  • "Ond gellir pydru trysor heb ei roi mewn ffordd newydd.

"But a treasure can rot if not given in a new way."

  • " Teimlai Owain ei galon yn dod iustrial wrth i’w gwerthoedd a’i dymuniad brwydro am ofod.

Owain felt his heart come industrial as his values and will battled for space.

  • Gwenllian rhoddodd cynnig iddi, un a oedd yn uchelgeisiol ond heb ymyl gwado.

Gwenllian proposed her offer, one that was ambitious yet without a denying edge.

  • Bu’n siarad am greu adran newydd o fewn cwmni Owain, un a fyddai’n cadw at wreiddiau traddodiadol Ond hefyd, yn annog arloesedd.

She spoke about creating a new department within Owain's company, one that would adhere to traditional roots but also encourage innovation.

  • "Bydd angen i chi gymryd cam yn ddiogelwch," adrodd hi.

"You will need to take a step without fear," she said.

  • "Ond byddaf yno, ar bared â chi.

"But I will be there, alongside you."

  • "Tanau’r gwynt drwy’r silff nawärts awydd.

The wind's fires spilled through the shelf with yearning.

  • Edrychodd Owain i wyneb Gwenllian, gan weld ei wir ddilingaeth.

Owain looked into Gwenllian's face, seeing her true sincerity.

  • Yn sydyn, eisteddodd yn syth gyda phenderfyniad newydd.

Suddenly, he sat up straight with a new determination.

  • “Rwy'n cytuno,” atebodd Owain ar ôl saib.

"I agree," Owain answered after a pause.

  • "Bydd ein gilydd yn gallu creu llwybr sydd yn parchu y gorffennol, ond sy'n galluogi i ni symud ymlaen.

"Together we can create a path that respects the past but allows us to move forward."

  • "Edrychai Gwenllian tuag at y ffenestr lle’r oedd yr eira’n parhau i ddisgyn yn dawel.

Gwenllian looked towards the window where the snow continued to fall silently.

  • Teimlai ddirgryniad o lwyddiant dani yn dod â’r ddau gartref â'i gilydd.

She felt a tremor of success in bringing the two home together.

  • Roedd Owain wedi canfod y cydbwysedd rhwng traddodiad a newid, ac am hynny, roedd y ddau fusnes, gyda dwy deulu o'r newydd, yn barod nawr i wynebu’r dyfodol gyda'r llaw arall yn gryf.

Owain had found the balance between tradition and change, and for that, the two businesses, with two newly united families, were now ready to face the future with a strong collaborative hand.

  • Roedd amser y gaeaf yn dal ei afael ar Gaerdydd, ond o dan ei ddiogi, roedd daioni'r gwanwyn, yn aros am helbulio'r byd mas.

Winter continued to keep its hold on Caerdydd, but beneath its stillness, the goodness of spring was waiting to stir the world anew.
