  • Wrth i'r haul codi dros y ddinas dechnolegol, roedd golau melyn ac oren y bore'n llifo i lawr y skyscrapiau ac yn taflu cysgodion hir dros y siop lyfrau fach.

As the sun rose over the technological city, the yellow and orange light of the morning flowed down the skyscrapers, casting long shadows over the small bookstore.

  • Yn cuddio rhwng y tyrau gwydr llachar, roedd y siop yn cynnig lloches gynnes i'r rhai sy’n chwilio am heddwch o'r drefn brysur.

Hidden between the bright glass towers, the shop offered a warm refuge for those seeking peace from the busy order.

  • Clymodd Llinos ei siaced yn dynach o gwmpas ei chorff wrth iddi gamu i mewn i’r siop.

Llinos tightened her jacket around her body as she stepped into the shop.

  • Roedd hi'n chwilio am ysbrydoliaeth.

    She was searching for inspiration.

  • Roedd y siop yn llawn aroglau papur hen ac wedi'u goleuo gan lampau hen ffasiwn, gan gynnig cyferbyniad braf â’r byd digidol y tu allan.

The shop was filled with the scents of old paper and illuminated by old-fashioned lamps, offering a pleasant contrast to the digital world outside.

  • O’r ochr arall o'r siop, ymddangosodd Emrys.

From the other side of the shop, Emrys appeared.

  • Roedd ei fywyd yn llawn o dechnoleg gyflym, a'r siop lyfrau oedd ei ddihangfa.

His life was full of fast technology, and the bookstore was his escape.

  • Roedd golwg o heddwch ar ei wyneb wrth iddo droedio drwy'r silffoedd.

There was a look of peace on his face as he walked through the shelves.

  • Roedd y ddau yn cwrdd ar hap wrth silff benodol.

The two met by chance at a particular shelf.

  • Ar stondin flaenllaw oedd copi olaf o nofel brin newydd a oedd ar eu meddyliau ers amser.

On a prominent stand was the last copy of a rare new novel that had been on their minds for some time.

  • Roedd Llinos a Emrys ill dau'n estyn am y llyfr ar yr un pryd.

Both Llinos and Emrys reached for the book at the same time.

  • Cyrraeddodd eu dwylo am yr un gwrthrych, sef y llyfr hynny rhyfeddol.

Their hands reached for the same object, that remarkable book.

  • "Mae'n ddrwg gen i," smaled Llinos, a’i hwyneb yn orlawn o chwilfrydedd a charedigrwydd.

"I'm sorry," Llinos smiled, her face full of curiosity and kindness.

  • "Dim problem," atebodd Emrys yn dawel, gan shrwd o’i wên ddiymhongar.

"No problem," answered Emrys calmly, with a hint of his modest smile.

  • Gwyddai’r ddau ar unwaith bod y llyfr hwn yn golygu mwy na dim ond darlleniad.

Both knew instantly that this book meant more than just a read.

  • Roedd yn symbol o rywbeth newydd i'r ddau.

It was a symbol of something new for both.

  • Roedd Llinos yn gweld ysbrydoliaeth posibl ar gyfer ei sgwennu a Emrys yn gweld cyfle i fynychu cyfeillgarwch ychydig yn ehangach na’r digidol.

Llinos saw potential inspiration for her writing, and Emrys saw an opportunity to engage in a friendship a little broader than the digital.

  • Ar ôl trafodaeth fer, roedd y ddau'n cytuno i rannu'r llyfr.

After a brief discussion, the two agreed to share the book.

  • Byddai Llinos yn ei ddarllen gyntaf, gan fod angen arni ffrwd o ysbrydoliaeth newydd, ac roedd Emrys yn hapus i drafod gyda hi am ei brofiad.

Llinos would read it first, as she needed a stream of new inspiration, and Emrys was happy to discuss her experience with her.

  • Fe wnaethant gyfnewid manylion cyswllt a chytuno i gwrdd eto i rannu eu profiad.

They exchanged contact details and agreed to meet again to share their experience.

  • Wrth ddychwelyd at y siop flynyddoedd isod, roedd pŵer annisgwyl.

Upon returning to the shop years later, there was an unexpected power outage.

  • Goleuni'r lampau’n pylu.

The light of the lamps faded.

  • Dechreuodd Emrys a Llinos weithredu ar unwaith i helpu'r staff a'r cwsmeriaid.

Emrys and Llinos acted immediately to help the staff and customers.

  • Trwy gydweithio, roeddent yn darganfod mwy am wahaniaethau ac undod eu personoliaethau.

By working together, they discovered more about the differences and unity of their personalities.

  • Wrth i'r goleuni ddychwelyd, roedd cysylltiad cryfach rhyngddynt.

As the lights returned, there was a stronger connection between them.

  • Cafodd Llinos swyn newydd ar gyfer ysgrifennu, ac Emrys werthfawrogiad newydd am y person a ddaeth yn gyfrifol am ffurfio cysylltiad y tu hwnt i'w faes technoleg.

Llinos found a new enchantment for writing, and Emrys a newfound appreciation for the person who became responsible for forming a connection beyond his field of technology.

  • "Ar ôl y cyfan hwn, rwy'n falch i ddweud bod ein cyfarfod ar hap wedi bod," dywedodd Llinos gyda gwên fawr.

"After all this, I’m glad to say that our chance meeting has been," said Llinos with a big smile.

  • "Yn bendant," cytunodd Emrys, gyda’r llyfr gwerthfawr yn eu dwylo.

"Definitely," agreed Emrys, with the precious book in their hands.

  • "A ddylwn ni ddal i’w drafod, ynghyd ag eraill?

"Should we continue to discuss it, along with others?"

  • "Ac felly dechreuodd cyfeillgarwch bywiog, gyda nhw yn cytuno i gwrdd yn rheolaidd i rannu eu caerau llenyddol a phroffesiynol, yn eu gorchymyn eu hunain yn ein byd gwyllt prydferth.

And so began a lively friendship, with them agreeing to meet regularly to share their literary and professional strongholds, in their unique order in our wild, beautiful world.
