  • Freja var en glad pige.

    Freja was a happy girl.

Today she was going to Tivoli in Copenhagen.

  • Hun glædede sig meget.

    She was very excited.

She took the first step into the colorful garden and saw twinkling lights and heard lively music.

Freja went to a stall and bought a big, pink cotton candy.

  • Hun elskede candyfloss.

    She loved cotton candy.

She walked through the park and saw all the fun stalls and carousels.

  • Hun smilede til alle.

    She smiled at everyone.

  • Men pludselig, følte Freja en ryk i sin hånd.

But suddenly, Freja felt a tug on her hand.

  • Hendes candyfloss var væk!

    Her cotton candy was gone!

She looked up and saw a beautiful peacock quickly running away with her cotton candy in its beak.

  • Freja råbte, "Stop!

    Freja shouted, "Stop!

  • Det er min candyfloss!"

    That's my cotton candy!"

  • Men påfuglen hørte ikke efter.

    But the peacock didn't listen.

  • Freja løb efter påfuglen.

    Freja ran after the peacock.

She ran past the big carousel and the tall roller coaster.

  • Påfuglen var hurtig, men Freja var hurtigere.

The peacock was fast, but Freja was faster.

She saw the peacock hiding behind a big bush.

  • Hun nærmede sig roligt.

    She approached calmly.

  • "Kom her, lille påfugl," sagde hun blidt.

"Come here, little peacock," she said gently.

The peacock looked at her with big, innocent eyes.

It dropped the cotton candy and took a step back.

Freja took the slightly nibbled cotton candy back and laughed.

  • Påfuglen så næsten undskyldende ud.

    The peacock looked almost apologetic.

Freja reached out and petted the soft peacock.

  • "Det er okay," sagde hun.

    "It's okay," she said.

  • "Jeg kan købe en ny candyfloss."

"I can buy a new cotton candy."

She went back to the stall and bought another cotton candy.

This time she went to a quiet corner of the park and enjoyed her sweet snack.

The peacock was gone, but Freja felt happy because she had made a new friend.

The day ended with fireworks and Freja went home with a smile on her face.

Tivoli was always full of surprises, but this day was something special.
