On a warm summer day, Mikkel, Line, and Niels walked through Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen.

The festive atmosphere filled the air with laughter, music, and the scent of summer flowers.

Colorful lamps hung everywhere, and small shops enticed with exciting souvenirs.

  • Mikkel kiggede på alt, men intet fangede hans interesse.

Mikkel looked at everything, but nothing caught his interest.

His thoughts flew back to his ex-girlfriend, and the pain in his heart still felt fresh.

He desperately wanted to find something that could give him a spark of joy.

Line, his best friend, saw how he was struggling.

  • Hun ønskede at hjælpe ham, men hun skjulte også sine egne dybe følelser for Mikkel.

She wanted to help him, but she also hid her own deep feelings for Mikkel.

  • Hun havde elsket ham længe, men frygten for at miste hans venskab holdt hende tilbage.

She had loved him for a long time, but the fear of losing his friendship held her back.

Niels, Line's younger brother, was always ready to joke.

He danced around, trying to make them laugh.

He knew his sister loved Mikkel, and he wanted to lighten the mood.

They walked into a small shop filled with unique trinkets.

  • Mikkel stødte på en smuk træfigur.

Mikkel stumbled upon a beautiful wooden figure.

It looked like a bird about to take off from a branch.

  • Symbolet på nye begyndelser talte til ham.

The symbol of new beginnings spoke to him.

"It's perfect," he mumbled to himself, picking up the figure.

  • Line samlede sin mod til sig.

    Line gathered her courage.

Driven by the moment, she pulled Mikkel aside and said, “Mikkel, I know it’s hard right now.

But I think there’s something you should know.

  • Jeg har altid elsket dig."

    I’ve always loved you.”

Mikkel stared at her, first shocked, then softened.

For a moment, he considered giving up and leaving the shop without buying anything.

But then he felt a warmth spread in his chest.

“Line,” he said gently, “I’ve always had feelings for you too.

  • Jeg var bare blind for det."

I was just blind to them.”

He bought the wooden figure and handed it to Line.

  • "Dette er for dig.

    "This is for you.

  • For os.

    For us.

  • For nye begyndelser."

    For new beginnings.”

  • Line smilede, lettet og glad.

    Line smiled, relieved and happy.

  • "Tak, Mikkel.

    "Thank you, Mikkel.

  • Lad os starte noget nyt sammen."

    Let’s start something new together.”

As they walked out of the shop, hand in hand, Mikkel felt a weight lift from his shoulders.

Niels ran ahead of them, fooling around and making them laugh.

The three friends, now closer than ever, walked toward Tivoli’s lights and joy, ready to celebrate midsummer with new hopes and dreams.

  • Og således begyndte deres nye rejse.

And so began their new journey.
