  • Sveden drypper fra Kaspers pande, mens solen brænder ned fra himlen.

Sweat drips from Kasper's forehead as the sun blazes down from the sky.

Mette walks by his side, snapping pictures with her camera.

They are on a school trip in a desert oasis in Morocco, surrounded by endless dunes.

They have been looking forward to this trip all year.

"We need to find some shade," says Kasper, looking around.

There isn't much vegetation, just a few scattered palm trees and a small spring with water.

"I want to take a picture over there," says Mette, pointing at a particularly high dune.

  • "Det bliver fantastisk!"

    "It will be fantastic!"

"We mustn't stray too far from the group," Kasper warns.

  • Mette nikker, men smutter alligevel af sted.

Mette nods but slips away anyway.

Kasper follows nervously, afraid of losing sight of her.

  • Det er sommer, og varmen er ubarmhjertig.

It's summer, and the heat is relentless.

They climb the dune, and when they reach the top, they look around, confused.

  • Gruppen er ikke længere synlig.

The group is no longer visible.

  • Kaspers hjerte banker hurtigere.

    Kasper's heart beats faster.

  • "Hvad gør vi nu?"

    "What do we do now?"

  • spørger Mette og holder om sit kamera.

    asks Mette, clutching her camera.

  • "Jeg skulle have sparet batteriet."

"I should have saved the battery."

"We have to think," says Kasper, wiping the sweat from his face.

"We don't have much water and no food."

"I want to take another picture," insists Mette, but Kasper shakes his head.

"We need to find some shade and wait."

They sit under one of the few palm trees and try to gather their thoughts.

  • Tiden går langsomt, og skyggerne bliver længere.

Time passes slowly, and the shadows grow longer.

  • Mette tager forsigtigt sit kamera frem og inspicerer batteriet.

Mette carefully takes out her camera and inspects the battery.

  • Der er kun lidt strøm tilbage.

There is only a little power left.

  • "Vi skal signalere gruppen," siger Kasper.

"We need to signal the group," says Kasper.

"They must come back and look for us."

Mette nods and takes a picture of the sky.

The flash lights up the twilight, and they hope it will attract attention.

  • De gentager det flere gange.

    They repeat this several times.

  • Pludselig ser de en bevægelse i horisonten.

Suddenly, they see movement on the horizon.

  • "Der er nogen!"

    "There's someone!"

  • råber Mette.

    shouts Mette.

  • Det er deres lærer og klassekammerater.

    It's their teacher and classmates.

The joy and relief are evident in both Kasper and Mette.

When they finally regroup, Kasper breathes a sigh of relief.

"I got all the information I needed," he says proudly.

"And I have pictures and a really good story," says Mette with a smile.

Kasper learns the importance of being flexible and working together as a team.

Mette realizes the value of being prepared and cautious.

The oasis looks less threatening now that they are safe.

The school trip ends well, and their friendship has grown stronger.

They return home with new experiences and stories they will never forget.
