Neil oli plaanis matk Viru rabas, Lahemaa rahvuspargis.

They had planned a hike in the Viru Bog, in Lahemaa National Park.

The sky was blue, and the sun shone brightly.

They reached the start of the trail and began walking.

The trail was beautiful and quiet.

They walked through forests and past lakes.

Birds sang, and the wind whispered between the trees.

"Näed, seal on laudtee," ütles Mari ja osutas kaugusse.

"Look, there’s a boardwalk," said Mari, pointing into the distance.

"Näen, lähme vaatame," vastas Jaan.

"I see it, let’s go check it out," replied Jaan.

Nad astusid õrnalt laudteele ja hakkasid üle raba sammuma.

They gently stepped onto the boardwalk and started walking across the bog.

Laudtee oli pikk ja sirge.

The boardwalk was long and straight.

Vesi rabas oli rahulik.

The water in the bog was calm.

"Veel natuke ja jõuame vaatetornini," ütles Jaan.

"A bit further and we’ll reach the observation tower," said Jaan.

They continued walking until the tower came into view.

Torn oli kõrge ja tugev.

The tower was tall and sturdy.

"Let’s go see the view from up there," suggested Mari.

They climbed the ladder and stepped onto the platform.

The view from the top was breathtaking.

They could see green forests and the blue sky.

The bog stretched out to the horizon.

"Look, there’s also a campfire site," pointed Jaan.

They climbed back down and went to the campfire site.

Jaan lit the fire, and Mari took out the hiking bag.

They ate sandwiches and drank warm tea.

They reached the car and drove contentedly home.

The hike in the Viru Bog had ended, but the memories would last forever.
