The autumn air was fresh, and the sound of children's laughter spread happily around the area.

Aino ja Joonas kävelivät portista sisään, innokkaana osallistumaan eläintarhan järjestämään aarteenmetsästykseen.

Aino and Joonas walked in through the gate, eager to participate in the treasure hunt organized by the zoo.

"Aino, katso!

"Aino, look!

Saatiin lista", Joonas sanoi ja vilkutti paperia.

We got a list," Joonas said and waved a piece of paper.

Aino kalasteli taskustaan oman version, mutta se putosi kiireessä maahan.

Aino fished out her own version from her pocket, but in her hurry, it fell to the ground.

Joonas auttoi keräämään tavarat, ja he lähtivät innokkaina matkaan.

Joonas helped gather the items, and they set off excitedly.

They walked along the zoo paths, trying to interpret the list.

Soon Aino stopped and frowned.

"Maybe we'll have a fun day out of this," he said.

Aino katsoi piirroksia uudelleen.

Aino looked at the drawings again.

It would be fun to try to interpret them.

"Hyvä on.

"Alright.

Yritetään sitten mennä mukaan näillä", Aino hymyili.

Let's try to go along with these," Aino smiled.

Joonas nyökkäsi.

Joonas nodded.

"Loistavaa!

"Great!

Tämä näyttää norsulta... vai onko se virtahepo?"

This looks like an elephant... or is it a hippopotamus?"

hän mietti leikkisästi.

he wondered playfully.

He seurasivat piirrosten vihjeitä.

They followed the clues from the drawings.

Välillä he huomauttivat toistensa näkemyksistä nauraen.

Occasionally, they commented on each other's interpretations with laughter.

Ensimmäinen kohde näytti suurelta leijonalta, ja he suuntasivat suureen aitaukseen.

The first target looked like a large lion, and they headed to a big enclosure.

Inside, they saw big bears, not lions.

"Completely missed," Aino laughed.

But it was fun.

Next, Joonas saw something in the drawing that reminded him of the rainforest house.

Excited, they hurried forward.

To their surprise, instead of the house, they arrived at an ice cream kiosk.

"Ei tämä huono erehdys olekaan", Joonas virnisti.

"This isn't a bad mistake," Joonas grinned.

He ostivat jäätelöt ja istuivat alas puiston penkille.

They bought ice creams and sat down on a park bench.

Aino kaatoi päälle strösseleitä ja naurahti.

Aino sprinkled toppings on hers and chuckled.

"Onkin mukavaa rentoutua ja nauttia päivästä", hän myönsi.

"It's nice to relax and enjoy the day," she admitted.

"Ja joskus hassut asiat johtavat uusiin yllätyksiin", Joonas sanoi.

"And sometimes silly things lead to new surprises," Joonas said.

Päivä oli ollut erilainen, mutta ihmeellinen.

The day had been different, but wonderful.

Yhdessä pienet virheet muuttuivat elämyksiksi, joita he eivät enää vaihtaisi mihinkään.

Together, small mistakes turned into adventures they wouldn’t trade for anything.
