  • Bhí an aimsir te agus geal i gcroílár Bhaile Átha Cliath, agus bhí an siopa tae lán le guthanna agus gáire.

The weather was hot and bright in the heart of Dublin, and the tea shop was full of voices and laughter.

  • Taobh istigh, bhí Áine suite ag bord adhmaid in aice le fuinneog mhór.

Inside, Áine was sitting at a wooden table near a large window.

  • Bhí greim caife aici agus bhí sí ag féachaint amach ar na daoine ar an tsráid.

She had a cup of coffee and was looking out at the people on the street.

  • Bhí cuma imníoch uirthi.

    She looked anxious.

  • Bhí obráid aici le déanaí agus bhí sí fós ag téarnamh.

She had recently had surgery and was still recovering.

  • Chuaigh an doras os ard agus shiúil Cian isteach.

The door opened loudly and Cian walked in.

  • D’amharc sé timpeall agus chonaic sé Áine.

He looked around and saw Áine.

  • Bhí meangadh gáire air nuair a shuigh sé síos os comhair di.

He smiled when he sat down across from her.

  • "Dia dhuit, Áine," arsa Cian go fonnmhar, "Conas atá tú ag mothú inniu?

"Hello, Áine," said Cian cheerfully, "How are you feeling today?"

  • ""Dia is Muire dhuit, Cian," a d'fhreagair Áine, le beagán brón ina glór.

"Hello, Cian," answered Áine, with a bit of sadness in her voice.

  • "Tá mé fós lag.

    "I'm still weak.

  • Nílim cinnte an mbeidh mé réidh don taispeántas ealaíne.

I'm not sure if I'll be ready for the art exhibition."

  • "Bhí Cian cliste agus fiosrach.

    Cian was smart and inquisitive.

  • Bhí fhios aige nach raibh sé éasca do Áine leanúint ar aghaidh le hobair nuair a bhí sí ag téarnamh.

He knew it wasn't easy for Áine to continue working while she was recovering.

  • Ach chreid sé go mór inti agus a buanna.

But he strongly believed in her and her talents.

  • "Ná bí buartha faoi, Áine," arsa Cian go bogta, "Beidh tú ceart go leor.

"Don't worry about it, Áine," said Cian gently, "You'll be fine.

  • Tá sé seo thábhachtach, ach tá do shláinte níos tábhachtaí fós.

This is important, but your health is even more important.

  • Tabharfaidh tú faoi deara go mbeidh tú níos láidre chuile lá.

You'll see, you'll get stronger every day."

  • ""Ach táim ag mothú chomh lag," arsa Áine ag croitheadh a ceann.

"But I feel so weak," said Áine, shaking her head.

  • "Tá faitíos orm nach mbeidh an taispeántas foirfe.

"I'm afraid the exhibition won't be perfect.

  • Cad a dhéanfaidh mé má theipfidh orm?

What will I do if I fail?"

  • "Thóg Cian barróg uirthi agus d'fhéach sé ina súile.

Cian hugged her and looked into her eyes.

  • "Tá tú iontach, Áine," ar sé le hintleacht.

"You're amazing, Áine," he said wisely.

  • "Tá tú ceanndána agus cumasach.

    "You're determined and talented.

  • Tá forma orm.

    I'm so proud of you.

  • Bíodh muinín agat as do bhuanna agus lig don téarnamh a bhealach féin a thógáil.

Have confidence in your abilities and let your recovery take its own course."

  • "Bhí Áine ag smaoineamh ar focail Cian, ach bhí an t-imní fós ag cur isteach uirthi.

Áine thought about Cian's words, but the anxiety still troubled her.

  • Bhí ualach trom uirthi, an cineál nach féidir le haon duine eile a thuiscint go hiomlán.

She carried a heavy burden, the kind that no one else could fully understand.

  • Ach bhí rud éigin ina chroí a dúirt léi go raibh ciall annsna focail a dúirt Cian.

But there was something in her heart telling her that Cian's words made sense.

  • Tháinig deireadh le cupán caife Áine, ach bhí samhlaíocht nua aici anois.

Áine finished her cup of coffee, but now she had a new outlook.

  • D’fhéach sí amach arís ar an tsráid, an iarracht, an toil chun an taispeántas a chur ar bun fós ann.

She looked out at the street again, the effort, the determination to set up the exhibition still there.

  • "Ceart go leor, Cian," arsa sí go láidir.

    "Alright, Cian," she said firmly.

  • "Ní bheidh sé éasca, ach cuirfidh mé an taispeántas ar siúl.

"It won't be easy, but I will go ahead with the exhibition.

  • Caithfidh mé glacadh leis na laigí agus dul ar aghaidh.

I have to accept my weaknesses and move forward."

  • "Labhair Cian go bog, "Beidh mé in éineacht leat i gcónaí, Áine.

Cian spoke softly, "I'll always be with you, Áine.

  • Ná déan dearmad gurb é do chroí is tábhachtaí sa cheird seo.

Don't forget that your heart is the most important part of this craft."

  • "Nuair a tháinig an lá mór, bhí an siopa lán le huaigneas geal agus lucht féachana.

When the big day arrived, the shop was filled with bright solitude and spectators.

  • Chonacthas Áine níos láidre ná riamh.

    Áine appeared stronger than ever.

  • Bhí sí ag siúl timpeall a saothar ealaíne, ag labhairt go muiníneach leis na cuairteoirí.

She walked around her artwork, speaking confidently with the visitors.

  • Chonaic sí Cian sa slua, ag gáire agus ag tabhairt moladh di ina shúile.

She saw Cian in the crowd, smiling and giving her praise with his eyes.

  • Ag deireadh an taispeántais, d’fhág Áine an t-ionad mar bhean níos láidre agus níos muiníní.

At the end of the exhibition, Áine left the venue as a stronger and more confident woman.

  • D’fhéach sí i dtreo Cian agus smaoinigh sí ar a thacaíocht leanúnach.

She looked toward Cian and thought of his constant support.

  • "Go raibh maith agat, Cian," arsa sí le grá.

"Thank you, Cian," she said with love.

  • "Ní bheadh mé anseo gan tú.

"I wouldn't be here without you."

  • "Bhí an ghrian ag dul faoi faoi dheireadh an lae.

The sun was setting at the end of the day.

  • Bhí Áine agus Cian ag siúl síos na sráideanna, agus i ngach céim a ghlac siad, bhí siad ag cur tús le turas nua, lán le dóchas agus muinín.

Áine and Cian walked down the streets, and with each step they took, they were starting a new journey, full of hope and confidence.

  • Críoch.

    The End.
