The morning of the competition was cool and pleasant.

Avi woke up with a mixed feeling in his stomach.

In the streets of New York, spring had already started to bloom.

Inside the high school, everything was ready.

האולם הגדול היה מלא בתלמידים, מורים וסטודנטים.

The large auditorium was filled with students, teachers, and attendees.

דגלים צבעוניים וקישוטים בכל מקום, והתלמידים לבושים בתחפושות צבעוניות לכבוד החג.

Colorful flags and decorations were everywhere, and the students were dressed in vibrant costumes in honor of the holiday.

ארי עמד בצד עם יונה ומרים.

Ari stood to the side with Yona and Miriam.

עיניו רצו לכל עבר והבטן שלו התהפכה מקצת פחד והרבה התרגשות.

His eyes darted everywhere, and his stomach churned with a little fear and a lot of excitement.

"אם אני לא אצליח, אם המילים לא יצאו כמו שצריך?" הוא חשב לעצמו.

"What if I don't succeed, what if the words don't come out right?" he thought to himself.

יונה, חברו הטוב, טפח על כתפו.

Yona, his good friend, patted him on the shoulder.

"אתה יכול! אנחנו כאן בשבילך. פשוט תזכור מה שעבדנו עליו יחד."

"You can do it! We're here for you. Just remember what we worked on together."

מרים חייכה אליו בעידוד.

Miriam smiled at him encouragingly.

"אתה דובר מעולה, ארי. תן לקול שלך להישמע."

"You're a great speaker, Ari. Let your voice be heard."

התחיל שלב התחרות.

The stage of the competition began.

הקבוצה המתחרה עמדה מולם, מוכנה לתקוף עם טיעוניהם החזקים.

The opposing team stood across from them, ready to strike with their strong arguments.

אבל ארי ידע שהוא לא לבד.

But Ari knew he wasn’t alone.

The judges were captivated by the confidence and enthusiasm embedded in his words.

When he finished, there was loud applause from the audience.

At the end of the competition, they announced: "And the winners of this year's competition are the team of Ari, Yona, and Miriam!"

ארי הרגיש גאווה גדולה מתמלאת בתוכו.

Ari felt a great pride fill him.

הוא הפך ליותר בטוח בעצמו, והבין שהאפשרויות פתוחות לפניו.

He became more confident in himself and realized that possibilities were open before him.

"I really can do this," he thought as all the friends approached to congratulate.
