עמוס, שף בן שלושים וחמש עם זיק בעיניים וקופסת תבלינים מיוחדת ביד, עומד מוקסם מול דוכן התבלינים.

Amos, a 35-year-old chef with a twinkle in his eye and a special spice box in hand, stands enchanted in front of the spice stall.

טלי, אחותו של עמוס, עומדת לידו, מחזיקה ביד אחת את תיק הבד שלה וביד השנייה את ידה של בתה הקטנה.

Tali, Amos's sister, stands next to him, holding her fabric bag in one hand and the hand of her young daughter in the other.

"עמוס, אתה יודע שאנחנו צריכים להכין סלט הכרוב המסורתי לסוכות," היא אומרת בחיוך, מנסה לשמור על המסורת שכה יקרה לליבה.

"Amos, you know we need to prepare the traditional cabbage salad for Sukkot," she says with a smile, trying to preserve the tradition so dear to her heart.

Leora, the mother of Amos and Tali, approaches with fresh anemones in her hands.

"My dear children," she smiles warmly, "tradition is important, but so are joy and innovation."

That evening, under the sukkah, Amos feels the pressure.

He has learned to combine the new with the traditional, and Tali realizes there's room for innovation within tradition.

The market is closed until the next day, but everything remains alive in the hearts of the people of Shuk HaCarmel and the joy of Sukkot in Tel Aviv.
