पंजाब के एक छोटे से मोहल्ले में सर्दियों का मौसम अपनी पूर्ण छटा में था।

In a small neighborhood of Punjab, the winter season was in full swing.

चारों तरफ पतंगों की बहार थी।

Kites were flying everywhere.

आसमान रंग-बिरंगा दिख रहा था और हर छत पर लोग मकर संक्रांति के उत्सव का आनंद ले रहे थे।

The sky looked colorful, and people on every rooftop were enjoying the festival of Makar Sankranti.

ऐसे में, अर्जुन अपने कमरे में खिड़की के पास बैठा था, हाथ में कैमरा और मन में द्वंद्व।

In such a setting, Arjun was sitting by the window in his room, camera in hand and a dilemma in his mind.

"What are you thinking, Arjun?"

" मीरा ने मुस्कुराते हुए पूछा।

"सोच रहा हूँ कि क्या करूं।

"I'm thinking about what to do.

घरवालों की उम्मीदों पर खरा उतरूं या अपनी फोटोग्राफी को आज़माऊं," अर्जुन ने धीरे से कहा।

Should I meet my family's expectations or try my hand at photography," Arjun said softly.

मीरा ने उसकी ओर संवेदनशीलता से देखा, "तुम्हें वो करना चाहिए जो तुम्हें खुशी दे।

Meera looked at him sensitively and said, "You should do what makes you happy.

क्यों न तुम अपना कैमरा लेकर जाओ और दोनों का मज़ा लो?

Why not take your camera and enjoy both?"

"मीरा की बात अर्जुन के मन में बैठ गई।

Meera's words struck a chord with Arjun.

उसने तय किया कि वह पतंग महोत्सव में जाएगा, लेकिन अपने कैमरे के साथ।

He decided he would attend the kite festival, but with his camera.

इस बीच, उनका चचेरा भाई रवि तैयार हो रहा था।

Meanwhile, their cousin Ravi was getting ready.

रवि को पतंगबाजी का बड़ा शौक था और वो इस दिन का बड़ी बेसब्री से इंतज़ार करता।

"अर्जुन, चलो!

मैदान में देर हो रही है," रवि ने कहा।

We're getting late for the field," Ravi said.
