नई दिल्ली की सर्दियों का दिन था।

It was a winter's day in New Delhi.

बसंत कुंज के एक मोहल्ले में चहल-पहल थी।

There was a bustling atmosphere in a neighborhood of Basant Kunj.

हर जगह माटी के बर्तन और सजावटी लाइट्स की दुकानें सजी थीं।

Everywhere, shops of clay pots and decorative lights were set up.

हल्की ठंडी हवा के बीच बाजार के शोर में खोई थी प्रिय और रोहन की हंसी की आवाज।

Amidst the gentle chilly breeze, the laughter of Priya and Rohan was lost in the market noise.

प्रिय, जो हमेशा से क्रिसमस पर उत्साही होती थी, अपनी धुन में बाज़ार आई थी।

Priya, who was always enthusiastic about Christmas, had come to the market in her own groove.

इस बार नई दिल्ली की भीड़ में उसे खास सजावट करनी थी।

This time in New Delhi's crowd, she had to do some special decorations.

पहली बार वो इस बड़े शहर में क्रिसमस मना रही थी और उसके चेहरे पर एक नयी उमंग झलक रही थी।

It was her first time celebrating Christmas in this big city, and there was a new excitement gleaming on her face.

उसके साथ था रोहन, जो क्रिसमस की परंपराओं से अनजान था पर नयी चीजें सीखने का शौकीन था।

Accompanying her was Rohan, who was unfamiliar with Christmas traditions but eager to learn new things.

"रोहन, मुझे हर काम सही करना है।

"Rohan, I have to get everything right.

चलो, जल्दी चलें," प्रिय ने उत्सुकता से कहा।

Let's go quickly," Priya said eagerly.

दुकानों के बीच से चलते हुए, प्रिय को बहुत सी रोचक चीजें दिखीं।

As they walked among the shops, Priya saw many interesting things.

लेकिन कहीं भी वैसे परंपरागत क्रिसमस सजावट नहीं थी जैसे अमेरिका या यूरोप में होती हैं।

But there were no traditional Christmas decorations like those in America or Europe.

ये देखकर प्रिय थोड़ी चिंतित हो गई।

Seeing this, Priya became a bit worried.

"ओह, यहाँ तो कुछ खास नहीं मिल रहा," प्रिय ने उलझन में कहा।

"Oh, there's nothing special to be found here," Priya said in confusion.

रोहन ने उसे धीरज बंधाया, "कोई बात नहीं प्रिय, यहाँ कारीगरों का काम अद्भुत है।

Rohan reassured her, "No worries, Priya, the artisans' work here is marvelous.

क्यों न हम इन्हीं से कुछ खास बनाएं?

Why don't we create something special with them?"

"उन्होंने हस्तकला की एक दुकान पर रुककर सुन्दर हाथ से बना एक तारा देखा।

They stopped at a handicraft shop and saw a beautifully handmade star.

"ये तो बहुत ही सुंदर है, क्यों न इसे सेंटर पीस बना लें?

"This is so beautiful, why don't we make it the centerpiece?"

" रोहन ने सुझाव दिया।

Rohan suggested.

प्रिय के चेहरे पर मुस्कान आ गई।

A smile appeared on Priya's face.

"हां, यह कुछ नया और खास होगा!

"Yes, this will be new and special!"

"सुखदायी सजावट को लेकर वे मिठाइयों की दुकान पर गए।

Carrying delightful decorations, they went to a sweet shop.

रोहन ने सुझाव दिया कि क्यों न हम भारतीय मिठाइयाँ भी शामिल करें।

Rohan suggested that why not include Indian sweets as well?

"यह तो बहुत अच्छा होगा, गुड़ के लड्डू और काजू कतली सबको पसंद आएँगे," प्रिय ने कहा।

"That would be great, gur ke laddoo and kaju katli will be liked by everyone," Priya said.

घर आने पर, सब सजावट की गई।

Upon returning home, all the decorations were done.

प्रिय और रोहन ने मिलकर छोटी-सी जगह को भव्यता से सजा दिया।

Priya and Rohan together decorated the small space with grandeur.

विभिन्न रंग-बिरंगे कागज़ के फूल, लाइट्स और वह सुंदर तारा उनके लिविंग रूम की शोभा बढ़ा रहा था।

Various colorful paper flowers, lights, and that beautiful star enhanced the beauty of their living room.

क्रिसमस के दिन, प्रिय और रोहन ने अपने दोस्तों को आमंत्रित किया।

On Christmas day, Priya and Rohan invited their friends.

हर कोई अपनी खास चीजें लाया।

Everyone brought their special items.

उनके साथ बिताए समय ने प्रिय को एक नयी सीख दी।

The time they spent together taught Priya a new lesson.

"कभी-कभी नयी परंपराएँ भी अनोखी और प्रिय हो सकती हैं," प्रिय ने संतोष के साथ कहा।

"Sometimes new traditions can also be unique and dear," Priya said with contentment.

रोहन मुस्कराया, "किसी भी त्योहार का असली मज़ा तब आता है जब हम सब मिलकर उसे मनाते हैं।

Rohan smiled, "The real joy of any festival comes when we all celebrate it together."

"उस दिन, प्रिय के लिए आज के बाजार का अनुभव और अपने दोस्तों के साथ की गयी छोटी-सी पूजा ने उसे नया नजरिया दिखाया।

On that day, for Priya, the experience of today's market and the small prayer with their friends showed her a new perspective.

उसे समझ आया कि त्योहार का सही मायने में मतलब सिर्फ सजावट नहीं, बल्कि उन पलों में त्योहार जीना होते हैं।

She realized that the true meaning of a festival is not just decoration, but living those moments in the festival.
