दिल्ली की सर्दियों की सुबह थी।

It was a winter morning in Delhi.

इंडिया गेट की हरियाली में रंग-बिरंगे पतंग उड़ रहे थे।

Colorful kites were flying in the greenery of India Gate.

यह मकर संक्रांति का दिन था, जब पूरे देश में खेतों की फसल की खुशी मनाई जाती है।

It was the day of Makar Sankranti, a day celebrated across the nation in joy of the harvest.

हवा में एक अलग ही ताजगी थी।

There was a unique freshness in the air.

अरजुन अपनी दिनचर्या की भागदौड़ से थका हुआ था।

Arjun was tired from the hustle and bustle of his daily routine.

उसे अपने काम में सफल होने की चाह ने कहीं न कहीं खुद से दूर कर दिया था।

His desire to succeed in his work had somewhat distanced him from himself.

लेकिन आज उसका दोस्त संजय और कलाकार मीरा ने उसे पतंग उत्सव में खींच लाया।

But today, his friend Sanjay and the artist Meera had pulled him into the kite festival.

संजय और अरजुन स्कूल के ज़माने से एक-दूसरे को जानते थे।

Sanjay and Arjun had known each other since school days.

जहाँ संजय अपने परिवार के साथ वक्त बिताने को उत्सुक था, वहीं मीरा उत्साह से भरी होती थी, हमेशा कुछ नया खोजती रहती थी।

While Sanjay was eager to spend time with his family, Meera was always filled with enthusiasm, always looking to discover something new.

"चलो अरजुन, पतंग उड़ाने में कुछ खास बात होती है," संजय ने उसे उत्साहित किया।

"Come on Arjun, there's something special about flying kites," Sanjay encouraged him.

शुरू में अरजुन को लगा कि यह समय की बर्बादी है।

Initially, Arjun felt it was a waste of time.

लेकिन इंडिया गेट की विशाल भूमि, हँसी-खुशी से भरी हुई, उसे कुछ अलग महसूस करवा रही थी।

But the vast grounds of India Gate, filled with joy and laughter, made him feel something different.

मीरा ने एक प्यारी नारंगी रंग की पतंग अरजुन की ओर बढ़ाई।

Meera extended a lovely orange kite towards Arjun.

"पकड़ो इसे, चलो, आज कुछ नया करते हैं।

"Hold this, come on, let's do something new today."

" मीरा अपने चेहरे पर एक बड़ी मुस्कान के साथ बोली।

Meera said with a big smile on her face.

अरजुन ने थोड़े संकोच के साथ पतंग को पकड़ा।

With a bit of hesitation, Arjun took the kite.

पहले तो उसे ठीक से उड़ाने नहीं आ रहा था।

At first, he didn't know how to fly it properly.

संजय ने उसकी मदद की, और मीरा उसके पीछे खड़ी होकर उसकी हर कोशिश को सराहा।

Sanjay helped him, and Meera stood behind him, appreciating his every attempt.

धीरे-धीरे उसकी पतंग ने ऊँचाई पकड़ी।

Slowly, his kite began to soar.

जब उसने पतंग को खुले आसमान में झूमते देखा, तो अरजुन के चेहरे पर मुस्कान आ गई।

इंडिया गेट की धरती पर उसकी मुस्कान और ऊँची उड़ती पतंग गवाह थी कि उसने जिंदगी के इस जश्न को दिल से स्वीकार किया।

His smile and the high-flying kite on the grounds of India Gate were witnesses that he had wholeheartedly embraced the celebration of life.
