Mistaken Identity at the Morning Eatery
One bright day at a small eatery by the roadside, Budi was busy attending to the passing customers.
The eatery owned by Pak Hasan was always bustling with buyers in the mornings, thanks to its delicious food and affordable prices.
Meanwhile, Siti, a new employee, was doing her best to memorize orders without making any mistakes.
Dan Joko, salah seorang pelanggan tetap, datang untuk menikmati sarapan favoritnya, nasi goreng spesial.
And Joko, a regular customer, came to enjoy his favorite breakfast, special fried rice.
Wearing his worn-out blue apron, Budi carefully wrote down the orders in his notebook.
He didn't want a repeat of last week when he made a mistake due to the large number of customers.
Siti, looking anxious, glanced over at Budi, hoping she could also serve the customers as quickly as he did.
Kemudian, terjadi suatu kebingungan.
Then, confusion arose.
A man who looked like Joko arrived at the eatery.
Without thinking twice, Siti warmly greeted the man and brought him the special fried rice, which was usually ordered by Joko.
"It turns out I'm not the person you think I am, Miss," the man said with a small smile as Siti placed the fried rice in front of him.
Siti langsung terkejut, merasa malu dengan kesalahannya.
Siti was immediately shocked, feeling embarrassed by her mistake.
"Maafkan saya, Pak.
"I'm sorry, Sir.
Saya kira bapak adalah Joko, salah satu pelanggan tetap di sini," ucap Siti sambil menundukkan kepala.
I thought you were Joko, one of the regular customers here," Siti said, bowing her head.
Budi, seeing the situation, came to help Siti.
"Tidak apa-apa, Mbak Siti.
"It's okay, Miss Siti.
This was just a misunderstanding, I'll handle it," Budi said, patting Siti on the shoulder to encourage her.
Budi then politely apologized to the man and offered to replace his order with what he truly wanted.
The man smiled and said that he didn't mind trying the special fried rice since it looked delicious.
The man's understanding made Budi and Siti relieved.
Shortly after that, the real Joko arrived and everyone laughed as they recounted the earlier incident.
Siti learned that making mistakes is part of learning and what matters is how we rectify them with a good heart.
Pak Hasan's eatery became lively again, and all the customers were satisfied with the food and service provided.
Budi, Siti, and Joko became good friends and often joked about that unique misunderstanding.
