Sofie og Lars sitter på toget.

Toget er på vei til Bergen.
The train is on its way to Bergen.
Det regner litt ute, men humøret deres er høyt.
It's raining a little outside, but their spirits are high.
De skal besøke Bryggen.
They are going to visit Bryggen.
Bryggen er et UNESCO Verdensarvsted.
Bryggen is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
De er veldig spente på turen.
They are very excited about the trip.
Sofie ser ut av vinduet.
Sofie looks out the window.
Fjordene glitrer under den grå himmelen.
The fjords are shimmering under the gray sky.
"Se, Lars!"
"Look, Lars!"
sier hun.
she says.
"Så vakkert det er!"
"How beautiful it is!"
Lars nikker og smiler.
Lars nods and smiles.
Han liker også naturen.
He also likes the nature.
De snakker om fjellene og vannet.
They talk about the mountains and the water.
Toget går sakte, men det gjør ikke noe.

De har god tid.
They have plenty of time.
Etter noen timer kommer de til Bergen.
After a few hours, they arrive in Bergen.
De går ut av toget og kjenner frisk luft.
They get off the train and feel the fresh air.

De følger skiltene til Bryggen.
They follow the signs to Bryggen.
Sofie leser en brosjyre om stedet.

"Bryggen er veldig gammel," sier hun.
"Bryggen is very old," she says.
"Bygningene ble laget på 1300-tallet."

Lars ser seg rundt mens de går.
Lars looks around as they walk.
Han merker de fargerike husene.
He notices the colorful houses.
"Det ser ut som en annen verden," sier han.
"It looks like another world," he says.
Husene er smale og høye.
The houses are narrow and tall.
De er malt i rødt, gult og grønt.
They are painted in red, yellow, and green.

But they are still very beautiful.
De går inn i en av de små butikkene.
They go into one of the small shops.

"Jeg vil ha noe å huske turen med," sier hun.
"I want something to remember the trip by," she says.
Lars kjøper en bok om Bryggen.
Lars buys a book about Bryggen.
"Jeg vil lære mer om historien," sier han.
"I want to learn more about the history," he says.
Etter en stund blir de sultne.
After a while, they get hungry.
De finner en liten kafe.
They find a small café.
De bestiller fiskesuppe og brød.
They order fish soup and bread.
"Dette smaker fantastisk!"
"This tastes amazing!"
sier Lars.
Lars says.
"Enig," sier Sofie.
"Agreed," says Sofie.
"Dette er den beste suppen jeg har smakt."
"This is the best soup I've ever tasted."
De nyter maten mens de snakker om alt de har sett.
They enjoy the food while talking about everything they have seen.
Dagen går fort.
The day goes by quickly.
Snart må de tilbake til toget.
Soon they have to go back to the train.
De sier farvel til Bryggen og Bergen.
They say goodbye to Bryggen and Bergen.
"Vi må komme tilbake en dag," sier Lars.
"We must come back someday," Lars says.
"Ja, det må vi," sier Sofie.
"Yes, we must," says Sofie.
De setter seg på toget igjen.
They sit down on the train again.
På vei hjem snakker de om dagen.
On the way home, they talk about the day.
De er enige om at det var en fantastisk tur.
They agree that it was a fantastic trip.
Bryggen var enda bedre enn de hadde trodd.
Bryggen was even better than they had expected.
De sovner mens toget beveger seg gjennom landskapet.
They fall asleep as the train moves through the landscape.
De drømmer om gamle hus, smale gater og deilig fiskesuppe.
