Midsummer Magic: Overcoming Panic with Teamwork and Friendship
Solveig sto ved inngangen til matbutikken.
Solveig stood at the entrance to the grocery store.
Hun pustet dypt inn.
She took a deep breath.
Sommeren var varm og lys.
The summer was warm and bright.
Magnus sto ved siden av henne, avslappet som alltid.
Magnus stood next to her, relaxed as always.
Og der, blant frukt og grønnsaker, var Ingrid.
And there, among the fruits and vegetables, was Ingrid.
Ingrid smilte, klar til å hjelpe.
Ingrid smiled, ready to help.
Butikken var full.
The store was full.
Hyllene var fylt med sesongens spesialiteter.
The shelves were stocked with seasonal specialties.
Det luktet nybakt brød og jordbær.
It smelled of freshly baked bread and strawberries.
Solveig kikket på handlelisten sin.
Solveig looked at her shopping list.
Det var mye å kjøpe.
There was a lot to buy.
Hun måtte lage den perfekte midtsommerfesten.
She had to create the perfect midsummer celebration.
"Vi må begynne," sa Solveig bestemt.
"We have to start," Solveig said firmly.
Hun så på broren sin, Magnus.
She looked at her brother, Magnus.
Han gryntet og nikket.
He grunted and nodded.
Først hentet de jordbær og bringebær.
First, they grabbed strawberries and raspberries.
Solveig la boksene i vognen med forsiktighet.
Solveig placed the containers in the cart carefully.
Magnus rullet øynene.
Magnus rolled his eyes.
"Det er bare bær," sa han.
"They're just berries," he said.
Solveig ignorerte ham.
Solveig ignored him.
De gikk videre til kjøttdisken.
They moved on to the meat counter.
"Vi trenger laks," sa Solveig.
"We need salmon," Solveig said.
Ingrid holdt en pakke opp.
Ingrid held up a package.
"Denne?"
"This one?"
Solveig nikket.
Solveig nodded.
En time senere var vognen full.
An hour later, the cart was full.
Solveig gransket listen.
Solveig scrutinized the list.
Det var fremdeles mye som manglet.
There was still a lot missing.
Hun kjente panikken stige.
She felt panic rising.
Magnus var opptatt med å sjekke meldinger på telefonen sin.
Magnus was busy checking messages on his phone.
Ingrid så på noen blomster.
Ingrid was looking at some flowers.
Solveig snudde seg mot hyllene med krydder.
Solveig turned toward the spice shelves.
Øynene hennes fyltes med tårer.
Her eyes filled with tears.
"Jeg klarer det ikke," hvisket hun.
"I can't do it," she whispered.
Ingrid hørte henne.
Ingrid heard her.
Hun kom bort og la en hånd på Solveig's skulder.
She came over and placed a hand on Solveig's shoulder.
"Vi kan dele oppgavene," sa Ingrid.
"We can divide the tasks," Ingrid said.
Magus kikket opp fra telefonen.
Magnus looked up from his phone.
"Ja, selvfølgelig," sa han.
"Yes, of course," he said.
Han smilte.
He smiled.
"Jeg kan kjøpe drikkevarer og servietter."
"I can get drinks and napkins."
Solveig så på dem begge.
Solveig looked at both of them.
Hun følte seg fortsatt nervøs, men også lettet.
She still felt nervous but also relieved.
"Ok," sa hun.
"Okay," she said.
"Ingrid, kan du ta grønnsakene?
"Ingrid, can you get the vegetables?
Jeg tar meg av desserten."
I'll take care of dessert."
Med nye oppgaver gikk de tre vennene hver sin vei.
With new tasks, the three friends went their separate ways.
Solveig følte seg kontrollert igjen.
Solveig felt in control again.
Etter noen minutter møttes de igjen ved kassen.
After a few minutes, they met up again at the checkout.
De lastet varene på beltet.
They loaded the groceries onto the belt.
På kvelden skinte sola fortsatt.
In the evening, the sun was still shining.
Solveig stirret på det dekorerte bordet.
Solveig stared at the decorated table.
Lys, grønne grener og fargerike blomster.
Candles, green branches, and colorful flowers.
Maten duftet fantastisk.
The food smelled amazing.
Gjestene kom.
The guests arrived.
De lo og snakket.
They laughed and chatted.
Solveig så Ingrid og Magnus.

Alle hjalp til, og stemningen var perfekt.
Everyone pitched in, and the atmosphere was perfect.
Solveig smilte.
Solveig smiled.
Midtsommernatten var magisk.
The midsummer night was magical.
Og hun lærte at hun ikke trengte å gjøre alt selv.
And she learned that she didn’t have to do everything herself.
Venner var der for å hjelpe.
Friends were there to help.
Og slik ble midtsommerfesten en stor suksess.
And thus, the midsummer celebration was a great success.
Solveig følte lettelse og glede.
