Library Snowman: A Mischievous Winter Adventure
Sindre was known for being mischievous among his friends at the large boarding school.
Winter had transformed the calm schoolyard into a perfect place for snowball fights, but Sindre had other plans.
He wanted to build the perfect snowman inside the library.
Det var en stille vinterdag.
It was a quiet winter day.
Many of the students had gone to the cafeteria for lunch.
Sindre så en mulighet.
Sindre saw an opportunity.
"Astrid, Lars," he whispered, "we're going to build a snowman in the library!"
" Astrid lo.
Astrid laughed.
"Hvordan i all verden?
"How on earth?"
" spurte hun skeptisk.
she asked skeptically.
Lars smilte, alltid klar for et eventyr.
Lars smiled, always ready for an adventure.
Biblioteket var et magisk sted.
The library was a magical place.
Rows of books stretched up to the ceiling, and there was a cozy reading nook by the window.
Sindre had noticed the available space.
Planen var enkel men dristig.
The plan was simple but daring.
During breaktime, the three friends gathered snow from the schoolyard in their gloves.
Sindre carried a large amount of snow to the reading nook while Astrid and Lars kept an eye on the door.
"The librarian doesn't come until one o'clock," assured Sindre.
They began to shape the snowman.
The books were used to build a foundation, and gloves for working the snow.
Ferdighetene til Sindre kom til nytte.
Sindre's skills came in handy.
His creative thoughts led to a snowman with a hat and scarf.
"Perfekt," sa Lars imponerende.
"Perfect," said Lars, impressed.
Just as they were finished, they heard footsteps.
It was the librarian, and she was quickly approaching them.
I panikk forsøkte Sindre å flytte snømannen.
In panic, Sindre tried to move the snowman.
Det var da det skjedde.
That's when it happened.
Snømannen falt i biter til gulvet.
The snowman collapsed into pieces on the floor.
Vennene stivnet til.
The friends froze.
The librarian, an older lady with strict glasses, stopped.
Her eyes narrowed, and she looked at the mess.
Til deres overraskelse lo hun.
To their surprise, she laughed.
"Skal si dere har fantasi!
"You've got quite the imagination!"
" sa hun med et smil i stemningen.
she said with a smile in her voice.
"Men dette må ryddes opp.
"But this needs to be cleaned up."
The laughter eased the nerves of Sindre, Astrid, and Lars.
Together they began to clean, while the librarian supervised.
"Kan vi ta et bilde først?
"Can we take a picture first?"
" spurte Astrid forsiktig.
Astrid asked cautiously.
Bibliotekaren nikket, fortsatt smilende.
The librarian nodded, still smiling.
The friends gathered around the remains of the snowman, took the picture, and said "Cheese!"
"Da de hadde ryddet opp, visste Sindre at han hadde lært noe viktig.
After they had cleaned up, Sindre knew he had learned something important.
Sometimes it pays to follow crazy ideas, as long as you also take responsibility.
