Jana and Marek were strolling through the courtyard of Bratislava Castle.

  • Slnko svietilo, obloha bola modrá.

The sun was shining, and the sky was blue.

  • Na hrade sa konal veľký trh.

A big market was taking place at the castle.

  • Trh s tradičnými slovenskými remeselnými výrobkami.

A market with traditional Slovak handcrafted items.

  • Jana a Marek obdivovali farebné stánky a vôňu jedla vo vzduchu.

Jana and Marek admired the colorful stalls and the aroma of food in the air.

They wanted to get closer to each stall, but there was one stall that attracted the most attention.

  • Boli tam nádherné vyrezávané drevené figúrky a jemné keramické hrnčeky.

There were beautiful carved wooden figurines and delicate ceramic mugs.

  • Marek sa pozrel na Janu.

    Marek looked at Jana.

  • „Tie figúrky sú krásne, však?

"Those figurines are beautiful, aren't they?"

  • “ povedal jej.

    he said to her.

  • Jana prikývla a usmiala sa.

    Jana nodded and smiled.

  • „Áno, Marek.

    "Yes, Marek.

  • Sú nádherné.

    They are wonderful.

  • Pozrime sa.

    Let's have a look."

  • “Pri stánku stál starý remeselník.

An elderly craftsman stood at the stall.

  • Mal šedé vlasy a láskavý úsmev.

He had gray hair and a kind smile.

It was clear he was happy that Jana and Marek were interested in his products.

  • „Dobrý deň,“ pozdravil ich.

    "Good day," he greeted them.

  • „Môžem vám niečo ukázať?

    "Can I show you something?"

Jana and Marek looked at each other and nodded.

  • „Áno, prosím,“ povedala Jana.

    "Yes, please," said Jana.

  • Starý muž im ukázal rôzne figúrky.

The old man showed them various figurines.

  • Boli tam malé drevené zvieratá, postavičky z rozprávok a krásne maľované tanieriky.

There were small wooden animals, characters from fairy tales, and beautifully painted plates.

  • „Tieto figúrky vyrábam už mnoho rokov,“ povedal starý muž hrdý na svoje remeslo.

"I've been making these figurines for many years," said the old man, proud of his craft.

  • „Každá je jedinečná.

    "Each one is unique."

  • “Marek sa zadíval na jednu figúrku.

    Marek focused on one figurine.

  • Bola to malá drevená ovečka.

It was a small wooden sheep.

  • „Koľko stojí táto ovečka?

    "How much is this sheep?"

  • “ spýtal sa starého muža.

    he asked the old man.

  • „Tá ovečka stojí desať eur,“ odpovedal muž.

"That sheep costs ten euros," the man replied.

  • Marek vôbec neváhal a peniaze podal mužovi.

Marek did not hesitate at all and handed the money to the man.

  • „Ďakujem vám veľmi pekne,“ povedal starý muž s vďačnosťou.

"Thank you very much," said the old man gratefully.

  • Marek chytil ovečku a podal ju Jane.

Marek took the sheep and handed it to Jana.

  • „Pre teba,“ povedal s láskou v očiach.

"For you," he said with love in his eyes.

  • Jana bola dojatá.

    Jana was touched.

  • „Ďakujem, Marek.

    "Thank you, Marek.

  • Je nádherná,“ povedala.

    It's beautiful," she said.

  • Ovečka naozaj vyzerala ako skutočná.

    The sheep looked very realistic.

  • Chvíľu ju obdivovala a potom ju starostlivo uložila do tašky.

She admired it for a moment, then carefully placed it in her bag.

Jana and Marek strolled through other stalls, buying a few trinkets.

After several hours, they decided it was time to go home.

  • „Dnešný deň bol úžasný,“ povedala Jana, keď kráčali ku autu.

"Today was amazing," said Jana as they walked to the car.

  • Marek súhlasil.

    Marek agreed.

  • „Áno, bol to skvelý deň.

"Yes, it was a great day.

  • Som rád, že sme sem prišli.

    I'm glad we came here."

  • “Povzbudení krásnymi zážitkami a tradičnými slovenskými výrobkami, odišli domov s úsmevmi na tvárach.

Encouraged by the beautiful experiences and traditional Slovak crafts, they left for home with smiles on their faces.

Jana placed the sheep on a shelf, and every time she looked at it, she remembered that lovely day at Bratislava Castle.

  • Príbeh o ich návšteve hradu ju vždy rozosmial a pripomínal jej, aká dôležitá je láska a zdieľané zážitky.

The story of their visit to the castle always made her smile and reminded her of the importance of love and shared experiences.

  • A tak Jana a Marek žili ďalej šťastne, zamilovaní a s mnohými peknými spomienkami.

And so Jana and Marek continued to live happily, in love, with many wonderful memories.

  • A ovečka im každý deň pripomínala ten krásny deň na hrade.

And the sheep served as a daily reminder of that beautiful day at the castle.
