Z každej strany znejú hlasy predajcov, ktorí ponúkajú svoje tovary – medovina, klobásky, čerstvé pečivo.

Avšak veľa z regálov bolo prázdnych.

However, many of the shelves were empty.

Niektoré ingrediencie, ktoré Marek potreboval, sa už dávno vypredali.

Some ingredients that Marek needed had long been sold out.

Marek bol nervózny.

Marek was nervous.

„Nemáme kapustu a ani bryndzu,“ povzdychol si.

"We don't have cabbage or bryndza," he sighed.

To bolo srdce jeho babičkinho receptu a v Bratislave na tom trhu to vyzeralo, akoby tieto ingrediencie boli neviditeľnými pokladmi.

„Ale my chceme, aby to bolo ako od babičky.

"But we want it to be just like grandma's."

“ „Babka by ti určite dovolila byť kreatívny,“ protivilo Zuzana hravo.

„Je predsa Nový rok!

"After all, it's New Year's!"

“Po chvíli uvažovania Marek privolil.

Zuzana navrhovala ďalšie substitúcie a Marek si uvedomil, že možno zmena nebude taká zlá.

Keď prišlo k vrcholu príbehu, Marek a Zuzana sa nakoniec s plnými taškami ingrediencií vrátili domov.
