The Chatuchak Weekend Market on Saturday was a bit quieter because it was winter in Bangkok.

"Here, Anan, want to check out these clothes?" Nipa smiled, pointing to a clothing stall where haggling was welcome.

The pair continued walking, passing by shops selling aromatic products, old books, and souvenirs that pushed Anan into a pit of uncertainty.

ท่ามกลางฝูงชนที่คึกคัก ทุกอย่างดูเหมือนเดิมซ้ำซาก

Amid the bustling crowd, everything seemed repetitive.

จนกระทั่งอนันท์หยุดกะทันหัน หน้าร้านเครื่องประดับเก่า ซึ่งมีเครื่องประดับเงินแวววาวที่สะท้อนแสงแสงไฟ

Until Anan stopped abruptly in front of an antique jewelry shop, which had shiny silver jewelry reflecting the light.

"ดูนั่นสิ นิภา" อนันท์บอกเสียงแผ่วเบา

"Look over there, Nipa," Anan said softly.

ชายหนุ่มค้นพบปิ่นปักผมโบราณ รูปดอกไม้ประดับด้วยงานแกะลวดลายละเอียด

Anan discovered an antique hairpin in the shape of a flower adorned with intricate carvings.

He knew his mother would love this.

"That's great! You really like these kinds of things, don't you?" Nipa said seriously, this time without a sarcastic smile.

"อืม ผมคิดว่าใช่" อนันท์ยิ้มอย่างโล่งใจ

"Yeah, I think I do," Anan smiled, relieved.

อนันท์เดินออกจากตลาดด้วยถุงของขวัญในมือ ความมั่นใจใหม่ในใจ

Anan walked out of the market with a gift bag in hand, newfound confidence in his heart.
